Game Storm is a well stablished convention that takes place annually in the Pacific Northwest area of the USA - in Portland, Oregon, to be precise. Reiner accepted an invitation to be the Guest of Honour for Game Storm 9 which took place from 30 March to 1 April 2007, and duly presented the trophies. The Kniziathon was ably organised by Chris Brooks over two whole days, rather than the more usual single day... In fact there was even a tournament-within-a-tournamament when a selection of two-player Reiner games were competed over... It made for a very interesting and memorable occasion.

Over the whole period, more than one hundred people took part. Congratulations to those who made it into the top three placings:

Chris Brooks took some great photos of the Kniziathon, which can be found on his Game Storm 2007 Flikr pages. A few are reproduced below.

The gathering of the pairs... Reiner's two-player games are competed over, Swiss-style.
